Get ready to lick your lips, because we’ve curated 10 of the best-tasting keto fat bombs ever created. And yes, we’ve balled them up and tried out every single one of them. We couldn’t resist.

If you’re already a fat-bomb connoisseur, then skip ahead to the recipes, but if you’re still a little perplexed by the terminology and think you may be confusing fat bombs with bath bombs, then come with us on a little detour.

What’s All the Hoopla About Fat Bombs?

Fat bombs are a keto dieter’s saving grace.

If there’s one thing we can all agree on about the keto diet it’s that restriction and sacrifice are the name of the game. And sacrifice doesn’t come easy. Cravings for sugary sweet stuff can sabotage the most devoted keto dieter’s success.

But you know what satisfies those cravings?

Easy to make…as in no bake…fat bombs!

And there’s no guilt involved, because fat bombs help you reach your 75% fat quota for the day.

These tasty little balls of fatty goodness deliver long-lasting energy while satisfying your desire for dessert, be it a muffin, a piece of chocolate cake, or a slab of fudge.

Fill the bomb with healthy fats and you’re helping to balance your cholesterol, insulin levels, and blood sugar. Good fats also help your body absorb more of the nutrients you eat.

Really there’s no reason not to fill your belly with fat bombs.

So, let’s try out 10 of the tastiest now, shall we?

The 10 Best-Tasting Keto Fat Bombs with Recipes

The recipes below have a few things in common. Keep these in mind in case you want to experiment with creating your own keto fat bomb recipe.

  1. Healthy fats: The staple of a fat bomb is that it’s high fat, but nutritious fat like peanut butter, almond butter, cacao butter, cream cheese, or avocado.
  2. Binders: These are all the fun bits that give the fat bomb texture, like shredded coconut, cacao nibs, nuts, dried fruit, and seeds.
  3. Flavorings: From sugar free sweeteners like erythritol, to classic flavorings like vanilla extract and dark chocolate, flavor keeps your fat bomb fulfilling.

1. Chocolate Fat Bombs

We’re still thinking about that slab of fudge, so we’re leading with our favorite fat bombs recipe from blogger Chocolate Covered Katie. We gave her recipe a keto-friendly twist for a fat bomb that makes going keto totally worthwhile.

  • 1/2 cup coconut butter
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • Stevia to taste
  • A dash of salt for a savory bent

  1. Mix the ingredients together to reach a smooth consistency.
  2. If the mixture appears too dry, then add some more coconut oil.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cup tray or mini cupcake tin.
  4. Place in the freezer to set.

2. Keto Cheesecake Fat Bombs

Gimme Delicious lives up to its name with these Keto Cheesecake Fat Bombs. You’re satisfying your sweet tooth with just 1 carb gram and 12 grams of fat! Of course we added a little extra flair to this already delectable fat bomb recipe.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 ounces butter or ghee
  • 4 ounces heavy cream
  • 2-3 teaspoons erythritol
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Shredded coconut or cacao nibs to top

  1. Get your electric mixer ready, because you’ll be blending the above ingredients for 1-2 minutes until the consistency is rich and creamy.
  2. Distribute the cheesecake filling into a mini cupcake tin.
  3. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. If you need them for a party pronto, then stick them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  4. Transfer to a sealed container. These fat bombs will stay good for 2 weeks if you keep them in the fridge. Although how could you possibly resist them for so long?

3. Keto Kitchen Fat Bombs

Keto Kitchen just calls them Fat Bombs, but we call them Coconut-Peanut Butter Delight Fat Bombs! The macronutrient ratio will support your keto diet and the yum factor will satiate any loud carb cravings.

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  1. Keeping the coconut oil and shredded coconut separate, mix together the other ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the coconut oil, and then mix well again.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes. The chia seeds need time to absorb the liquid.
