How to Lose Weight Without a Diet!

Losing weight and going on the right diet can be tough, especially with so many products and techniques out there; but which one will effectively work? Luckily for you, we found one of the better techniques that can help you lose weight.

Intermittent fasting (IF) is a term that describes an eating pattern.  The reason why intermittent fasting is so effective is because in our body, we have two types of storage: glucose storage and fat storage.  In order to reach to the fat storage, you must deplete your glucose storage.

Unfortunately, your glucose storage will continue to rise or stay the same if you keep putting food in your body.  The time between your first meal and your second meal are not long enough for your body to naturally burn the glucose storage and then go to the fat storage. You generally need 10 to 12 hours to burn your first storage before your body starts using your fat storage (burning fat storage = losing weight).

This is why intermittent fasting is so great!  It is a diet that consists of cycles for your eating time, and this is called the 16/8 method.  You would fast for 16 hours (generally before you sleep and skipping breakfast) and continue with your daily eating for the remainder 8 hours during the day.

“16 HOURS?!” you may ask.  There is a misconception is that you have to starve yourself, which is not true!  Here are some tricks that can help you make intermittent fasting easier on yourself:

Ketogenic diet (also known as keto diet) works harmoniously with Intermittent fasting to help you lose weight.  A process called Ketosis happens in your body when your food intake is not efficient, producing ketones that help break down fat. The keto diet is known for being a low carb, moderate protein, and high fat diet.  The reason why it is low carbs is because carbs will make your body produce glucose and insulin.
