Let’s face it: sticking to a new diet is so much easier when you have a handy book detailing its many nuances and benefits at your disposal. After all, they help you to stay on track.

As we’re in the business of helping you succeed, we’ve compiled a (just as handy) list of the best keto diet books currently on the market.

Bon appétit!

   1)  Top Tastiest Keto Recipe eBook

Save us the you-need-to-put-in-work-in-order-for-your-diet-to-work-for-you speech and show us the recipes.

Just show us the recipes.

Luckily this book does, in a major way.  With 17 recipes of ketogenic concoctions (everything from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to snacks and desserts) this book is short on propaganda and long on practicality.

Our favorites? That’s hard to say, but you could do a lot worse than the Berry Chia Pudding or Swedish Meatballs.

   2) The Complete Ketogenic Diet For Beginners

We’re all beginners at some point; what’s great is how this helpful book makes being one so much easier.

From its 75 easy-to-follow recipes (using five main ingredients or less) to its mock 14-day meal plan, this essential guide to living the keto lifestyle leaves little to be desired.

Striking a great balance between visuals and text, The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners also comes with a (you guessed it) complete overview explaining the diet’s fundamentals.

As getting lost is always less of a possibility once you’ve equipped yourself with the right roadmap, you’ll want to snatch this one up quick.

   3) Quick & Easy Ketogenic Cooking

Why complicate things?  We agree with Maria Emmerich—the author of Quick & Easy Ketogenic Cooking—who doesn’t think that you should have to.  A popular food blogger and nutritionist, Emmerich comes across as competent and caring throughout its pages.  Geared toward more intermediate ketogenic dieters, Quick & Easy Ketogenic Cooking skips the fluff in order to give you 100% whole-food recipes that are also paleo-friendly.

What’s more, there’s also plenty of helpful food options that have been written specifically for people with food sensitivities and allergies.

What a woman.

    4) The 30 Day Ketogenic Cleanse

On the fence regarding the benefits (or the practicality) of leading a keto lifestyle? There’s a book for that.

It’s called The 30 Day Ketogenic Cleanse and—according to its subtitle—it promises to “reset your metabolism with 160 tasty whole-food recipes and meal plans.”  Geared toward beginners or those getting back in the game, Maria Emmerich hits another healthy-eating book homerun with this one.

It includes:

  • 30-day meal plans/ shopping lists to kickstart ketosis.
  • Enough recipes to make your new program customizable to your unique taste.
  • A bonus slow cooker chapter.

    5) Keto Clarity: Your Definitive Guide to the Benefits of a Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet

For our skeptics who crave scientific proof, there’s Keto Clarity by Eric Westman MD and Jimmy Moore, a leading health blogger and researcher.  Their entry illuminates the keto diet in a way that’s exhaustive (but not exhausting) and rich in empirical evidence.

From the outset, this book promises to give readers access to all the latest relevant health science in plain, easy-to-understand language.  Looking for expert testimonials on the relationship between ketone use and improved health?

This book is for you.

    1. Hi! Being on KETO Diet is a lifestyle. Getting your body adapt to these changes take a lot of work and commitment. Once you achieved Ketosis, it is vital that you consistently stick to your diet to maintain the body weight you wish to achieve. Deviating form this practice would negate the diet you did to transition to the KETO phase, thus getting you back to square one. KETO diet is a challenge for some but the results are worth the sacrifice.
