Many people consume flavored beverages, whether it is soda or coffee; but the best alternative would be tea, since it is healthier for your body and definitely has its benefits! What are the benefits of drinking tea? We’re glad you asked.

Being a tea drinker myself, I definitely feel much better and healthier.  Besides drinking water, I wanted to quench myself with a tasty beverage; tea is definitely my best friend and here are 10 reasons why:

  1. Tea contains antioxidants that can protect us from pollution and aging!  It keeps your body strong and healthy, while being tasty.
  2. Want something to keep you up, but not make you jittery? Tea is your solution!  Tea has 50% less caffeine than coffee, and herbal blends have no caffeine at all!
  3. With research and study, tea has proven to have strong effects against heart attack and stroke.  Those who drink four or more cups of tea daily have a 32% reduction in being susceptible to heart attack and low levels of good cholesterol.
  4. Tea can help you on your journey to weight loss, but it varies per consumption and individual.
  5. This wonderful beverage has proven to prevent bone loss.
  6. Drinking tea may adjust your pH level in your mouth, as well as preventing cavities!
  7. Tea can strengthen your immune system, so you are less likely to be sick.
  8. Cancer is a tough thing to fight, but drinking tea may give you a stronger chance to fighting cancer and the risk of getting cancer.
  9. Tea is good for your digestive system and has been consumed by those who have irritable bowel syndrome.  Ginger tea can also ease nausea!
  10. Tea itself has no calories!

Tea may strengthen your body and make you feel good… inside and out. Make sure to spread the love!
